Thats great about your weight loss!

Thanks! It's not been "Easy" - but it's not been as hard for me as it was when I was married...

That's why, while I love a woman with curves, I'm worried that, if I start dating or even marry another BBW, that I am going to get complaicent and put it all back on again. So, for me to even consider more than friendship, there has to be a commitment to be active and eat healthy. Not going to ask her to lose weight... just don't put me in a situation where I will put mine back on... if that makes sense.

Never said that, and sorry if it seems if that's what I was saying.

For the record, my ex ate "fairly" healthy... she didn't encourage me to - instead, she made snide comments about what I ate that had the opposite effect. And, at some point, we both just gave up on it.

That, and she didn't WANT to be active... she would rather sit and watch TV, and if I was up doing stuff, even working around the house, it annoyed her and she would encourage me to sit around.

That's the situation I'm trying to avoid again. I need that commitment to be active and eat healthy - even if they DO eat healthy now... and It's nothing I will not be willing to commit to myself. (not asking anything of anyone I wouldn't do myself.)

EDIT - While I'm not saying someone would shove a hamburger in my face and say EAT IT... I want someone that is going to urge me to get the grilled chicken instead... as opposed to when my ex would look at my burger, say "that looks good, I'll take the same but with a side of mayo to dip my fries in."

I think BBWs are very beautiful. I still believe it's what's on the inside more. There are skinny, curvy, and bbws that are ugly on the inside and it shows on the outside. I'm skinny, but I get that from my dad's side of the family. I'm a great person inside. everyone has their own tastes on what they like. I prefer to see what's in the inside more.

BTW: I haven't seen anyone here that should have a problem thinking they weren't beautiful. you are a gorgeous woman flowerforyou

I don't like sticks... but I don't want MORBIDLY OBESE... and that goes for myself.

See, I've always been a "Big Boy" (225 lbs, 6" when I graduated High School and was not considered "Overweight") - I had coaches begging my parents to let me play football.

My ex, she was a CURVY size 18 and looked really, good.

Now, over the years, after we got married, she started gaining weight. Then, we BOTH got lazy, then I got hit by a truck and we both let ourselves go... last summer, I was 408 lbs, she was 290 lbs (that's a lot for someone only 5'5").

Since she left me, I've found I no longer have the desire to sit around the house, I'm back to how I was before marriage. I like being ACTIVE, and doing things and the weight is falling off. (82 lbs lost since August 2007).

That being said, I have nothing against a BEAUTIFUL woman with curves, or a little extra "Cushin' for Pushin" - I just want to make sure that my next will be ACTIVE with me! Not encourage me to sit around on the couch and watch TV with her all the time.

I'm a big boy, I've still got a ways to go on weight loss myself - and I rule NO ONE out on weight.

Congrats on your weight loss, I myself know its hard to loose the weight. I have lost 125 lbs and I am trying to maintain it now. I have changed my whole lifestyle now and I am eating healthy so I can keep the weight off and live a sensible way. I would hate to put all of my weight back on...I would not let that happen.
I think everyone just needs to realize that some guys like smaller women and some guys like BBW...we all have our own likes and dislikes. I myself prefer a man with some meat on him, but if I met someone who was thin and he had a great personality..I would not pass him up just because he was thin. I think I had more dates when I was heavier, now that I am thinner, most of the guys like my girlfriends that are much heavier. So that goes to show you that men do like BBW.

And, as I said, I've very attracted to BBW's and curvy women. I also know my own mind and know that it could be DANGEROUS for me...

82 lbs since Labor day weeken, 2007. It started when my ex said she had an affair and was leaving me... I was too sick to eat for days...

Something CLICKED as I was sitting there in the floor a few days later... and I just got up, put on my iPod and went for a LONG WALK. (Think about how Forrest Gump just went running when Jenny left him...) - during that walk, I had a Stuart Smilley moment and decided I was going to take my life and body back.

yeah - I thought about what I would have said... I might have gone with "My weight loss will be cheaper than your plastic surgery."

Remember, Beauty is only skin deep - but UGLY goes to the BONE!
