I won't shoot until I get a Colt 1911 Custom. Or a Desert Eagle .50, those are fun too.

Well Debbie darlin,When you are supporting a Queen you can't afford to shoot.I taught my children to shoot saftely at a youn age and as far as I know neiher of them has ever shot anyone.I am teaching my grandchildren to shoot saftely so they can enjoy the sport. My childrn went to hunter's safety as will my grandchildren and I would advise it for anyone wheather you hunt or not.I also taught my ex to shoot.Bad mistake. The worst part was she was better than me.You might say I dodged a bullit there.laugh

Shot a .22 rifle in summer camp when I was 14. Did pretty good. I'm now 47 and haven't touched a gun since. Is there a summer camp for 40 somethings?

Being as it is a "sportsmen" thread, I would assume proper targets

Hmmm....Proper targets....You mean like the Crested Leather-backed Dope-dealer, or the Shaded Mottle-skinned Pedophile?

I like getting about 6or7 people lined up and chuck clays past the line and see who cracks them first,We do have a tendency to waste a few more shells but its a rioute.drinker Some people cant hit the braud side of a barn but atleast they can try and have some fun making noise, and one thing to remember is shooting targets IS NOT KILLING something.I have taught a few people to shoot that wont huntnoway (dont want to kill animals(girls and guys both)) but love to shoot targets, smokin smokin smokin smokin smokindrinker drinker

I do quite a bit of shooting. Mostly single action revolvers, lever-action rifles, and double barrel shotguns. Used to shoot ar-15s and semi-autos quite a bit, I just enjoy the more laid back atmosphere now:smile:.
