Hey wego...have a wonderful christmas....!

hi ont. have a wonderful christmas too.

lion I am glad to hear that, this time of year can be depressing I am
lucky my kids live with me though they did not always and when they came
to see me was great and I loved every minute seeing them go was a
heartbreaker

I am going to tell you a story....

My oldest daughter is 24 and has 5 kids of her own. This story is when
she was in First Grade.

I was having a hard day cause her younger sister was sick and she was
having a projectile day.

I was standing at the sink doing the afternoon dishes from lunch, when
my oldest came into the house from school. She was very excited and
came running into the kitchen.

I was tired, grumpy, not up to hearing a 6 year old talk about her day
at school. She was jumping up and down and saying..."Mommy Mommy...
guess what???"

I knew I would get a headache if I let her keep it up... so I asked her
"What Suzanna?" And as I was standing there drying a glass bowl she
smiled very big at me and said...

"I learned how to make love today"

Needless to say I was shocked, almost dropped the glass bowl on the
floor. I carefully put the bowl down, dryed my hands, turned to my
every excited daughter.... bent down and looked at her and asked... "And
how do you make love hon?"

Now I was prepared for all kinds of shocking stuff to come from her. My
mind was racing as to how to counter act this event.

My daughter wiggled her shoulders and smiled and said...
"L O V E"

I was so relieved that I hugged her and told her how proud I was of her,
but I told her also that maybe we should say.... she learned how to
SPELL LOVE. *S*

i don't have kids but i have been around alot and i know how it is when
you may not be in a good mood but when i see a good happy and dancing or
something it makes me smile. it sounds corny but my favorite is when a
toddler takes off running and laughing. i don't know what it is but i
smile everytime. it's good to hear that you are feeling better lion and
i hope that you and your family have a happy holidays. same to everyone
else. sometimes this can be a trying time of year but if you have family
and friends around you just try to take a step back when you are feeling
bad and take a look at what you really have around you, i hope everyone
has a merry christmas and a safe and happy new years.

king being able to enjoy other peoples kids is a good thing too. when
they laugh it is the best medicine that there is.

and when they act up they can be sent home :)

that is true..

If it weren't for my kids...I know there are times when I would have
just given up. They are my world...my whole life...and the purest
definition of love that I could ever imagine. I truly thank God for them
every day. I know I am blessed!

i'll agree with you on that one escaped.

escape your so right if it was not for my kids things would be alot
different they have been my whole world and keep it turning for me. When
ever life has gotton me down the one thing that brought be back was my
kids knowing I had to keep going for them they have gave me more
pleasures and joy than anything in this world every could just a hug or
a smile that would light up there faces made me see it was all worth it.
Even now that they are grown I know I have been blessed to have them in
my life and they still keep me going when I get down they walk in the
door and those big ole happy smiles I know that through it all we did
make it and they both have grown into fine adults and both are very
caring and loving. My son has gave me one of the greatest treasures a
granddaughter that is sooo full of love she loves to give her granny
hugs and kisses and sit and let me hold her she always says I Love You
Granny come here and let me give you some Loving there is no sweeter
words from a child than that!!

awesome things that kids do bring you home a pic they did at school,
then you stand there looking at it, not quite sure what it is, but we
pretend to be soo excited as they are, funny thing is a year later they
still call it a tree, or frog, and yet we still cant see it,lol thats
what I call priceless
