I remember hearing stories of MDI schools being closed because with wind chill, it was -30.
 For this southerner... I cannot fathom that.

I remember hearing stories of MDI schools being closed because with wind chill, it was -30. For this southerner... I cannot fathom that. Haha! When I went home for winter break, it was -20 without windchill!! I remember having to go out at 6 am with -20 temp and having a lot of wind and wait for the bus. I think I may have worn ski goggles a couple of times, just to bundle up more |

You might like Belfast or Searsport, or maybe Islesboro (that one makes a good day trip) They're all on the coast, so they're pretty warm, but they're also smaller and friendlier. Also, there's a really nice thai food restaurant between Belfast and Searsport... it's small, but I love it. |

Hey,,you guys talkin bout my neck of the woods   Its not so bad actually. Myisland is usually warmer than most inland spots, and in the summer, cooler. I'm batting around a JSH gathering in July Who's interested?
