Doin 150 I'm havin fun.
On a straight, my back to the sun. Suddenly behind me, blue lights faraway. The twistys comin up, oh crap what a day. I throw my knee to the ground, oh boy what a curve. Still doin 100, it seems so absurd. But I must go faster, if I'm gonna win this chase. I accelerate, the wind in my face. My toes touch the tarmac, I'm goin so low. My horse is howling under the load. Concentrate I must, or I'll lose this fight. I'd be put in jail to sleep tonight. There is a road ahead in a curve. A dark mountain trail, I take the turn. Running down gravel as fast as I dare. I pull over and shut it off, man I'm so scared. Not one but two sirens I hear, pray for the best. Starting to wonder, if I passed this test. Louder they grow, approaching me fast. But then the wails fade as the hurry past. Utterly excited, copper taste on my tongue. I go back the way I had come. Once again, this deadly chase has been won.
