Is it better to care and be hurt or to not care and walk away? The heart always heals, to be uncaring is to have already died, inside. Very well said! |

ok...why do people push the good away and say f it - I'll go for someone to hurt me again?
I've done that in the past so I'm just as guilty, but I know a lot of people that do that |

ok...why do people push the good away and say f it - I'll go for someone to hurt me again? I've done that in the past so I'm just as guilty, but I know a lot of people that do that Wow, same thing as in another topic going on right now. Here's what I posted in there: Wrong question. He's gone and what does it matter what his issues are? The answer you need to find is to the question "Why are you attracted to that kind of guy?" Untie that knot and you'll be on your way to eliminating those kinds of leeches from your life. The place to start looking is inside yourself. Your beliefs and expectations. Do you see yourself accurately? Of course everyone THINKS they do but do you really? This is difficult ground to cover and takes patience and courage - and lots of outside help. Once you understand yourself and God's place for you in this world you'll see through the BS more easily. You'll attract less of it and be attracted to it less. |

lol i saw that post on the other thread. just curious why people look for the wrong person. i know what i am looking for and who i am, the good and the bad. but some how i keep running into the same problem and can't figure out the common factor

No, you won't be able to see it in yourself. You're IN the forest and can only see trees. That's where the outside help comes in. Sometimes friends are enough to point you in the right direction. Sometimes it takes a trained professional to help you unravel the weaves. The problem is finding a competent professional since at least half of the psych field belongs in rubber rooms themselves. |

Sometimes it's easier to care for another,
Then to care for yourself. So don't forget to care for yourself, Then others will care for you. |

I would much rather care and risk getting hurt. I know what it's like being with someone that doesn't care. I would hate to put someone through that. Because I can care I have learned what kind of people I want in my life.
