It's really difficult when it's only an online thing. Once you've actually met that changes everything but up until then you don't want to have or allow any expectations because it may end up being all for nothing. That's my 2 cents worth.

i don't mean to come across as degrading or insulting, but what does distance have to do with phone calls in this? if he lived in the next town over, i'd expect to have met him by now and still expect phone calls...but beings he doesn't, i expect phone calls..lol im tryin to understand, nothing more @ countrybumpkin2u |

I am not sure what you are asking .. in the beginning of any realtionship there seems to be a lot of calling going back and forth .. prob more so in a long distance one due to the fact that you are not seeing each other .. Get a webcam and start caming with him ...

*sigh* but alas, i know he's busy right now, so he can't talk.. however, i also know when he's not busy..err..i think i know when he's not..lol i try to call when i know he's not, that way i can actually TALK with him, instead of a meek 5 minute 'hi' I would have been happy with a 'meek 5 minutes' a couple times a week...at least I would have known he was thinking of me...*sigh*...yes we all have busy lives, but when you care for someone...you just don't 'take the time'...you 'make the time'. For some I guess that is asking too much.
