they weren't fuzzy when i put them in here. this site did that

The site does that to some pictures, I've noticed. I missed the other pictures. I'd say get dressed up like you would go have lunch with some friends. And take a few pictures. It isn't a bad picture, just a little frumpy. I don't do 'casual' myself, because I can't do it without looking frumpy.

Question..... why do you women ask for advice and then ignore it?

not all advice is good advice.

People are telling her to dress up, put on lipstick, curl her hair, get rid of her vegetables - in other words, they are telling her that unless she becomes someone other than herself, she will not be acceptable. She just doesn't look like the dress up, curl your hair, put on lipstick, put down your produce kind of gal. And there is nothing wrong with that. We don't all want to be Barbie Dolls.

This pic doesn't do you justice. You're an attractive woman, but your outfit and the way you're standing with your pockets spread out makes you look bigger than you are. Don't hate me, k... I'm not trying to be harsh.
Try a softer outfit maybe, or just don't stretch your pants on purposeflowerforyou

I wish you all the best!

I don't post asking for advice but still I have had people tell me I need to dress up, girl up, lose the hat, put makeup on, etc. My feeling is that if someone cannot find interest in me exactly the way I am, then I don't want him anyway. I am not going to pretend to be something I am not so as to ensnare some poor unsuspecting male. And I don't think berrypicker needs to do that either. All the girlie clothes and makeup in the world dont' make you a more interesting person. I think we should all just be who we are.

I believe that most of the people, this woman included, who ask for advice really don't want it. They want the posters to respond by telling them how perfect they are and all the other bull**** people throw when they want someone to feel good.

To a very large extent, I agree with you. For some reason, I wasn't getting that vibe in this case; but for the most part "rate my profile" means look at my pix and tell me how hot I am.

If I find myself asking questions like that? I am usually not standing on very firm ground.

Advice, either solicited or unsolicited is given. Given freely without expectation. What the person does with it? Is up to them, and none of my business... Unless I have some manipulation or ulterior motive in mind when offering the advice.

In which case it is not an advisement at all.. It is simply some self-serving statement and I am expressing disappointment that it did not go my way.
