Thoughts Of If

If the sands of time would run low
And my earth would end tomorrow,
I wouldn't know where I've been.

If the stars had darkened their sign
And your heart were no longer mine,
I'd be alone in the dark.

If the reason I stay lost it's life
And feelings I feel fell to strife,
I couldn't start once again.

If forever lost it's meaning
And your smile lost it's gleaming,
I'd be so blinded by dark.

If you knew the reasons I hold you tight,
If you knew the strength I hold inside,
Would you leave from my side?

If the sands of time would run low
Would the love that I gave to you show?
Forever's far too long to not know.
