UPDATE:

Becca said they tapped some more fluid off Pam's lung and she must be feeling better because she tried to get out of bed while Becca was there - now that was a FIRST!!!! She can't walk, of course, with the ventilator on her, but she tried. And, she can apparently talk some now and kept telling Becca she wants to go home, so now that she is feeling that way, my bet is she is going to really fight to get better and get back home. Trying to get out of bed and walk for the first time in going on 5 weeks has to be a good sign.

They are going to transfer her to a rehab center as soon as one of them has a bed available.

So Pammy is on the mend for real this time. Think her "fiesty" side has finally kicked in. You go Pammy, show them how it is done. We want you back here giving everyone heck and playing games with us all. Love ya, Sis.

Prayers are kept daily and Im so happy to hear you are fistie as ever....

Haven't talked to Becca for two days because of her work schedule, but I am sure Pam is doing better. If not, I would have heard something. I wish I could contact the hospital directly, but because of confidentiality laws they won't tell "outsiders" anything. I will catch up with her for sure tomorrow.

Keep up the hard work Pammy, we miss you Sis.
