UPDATE:

Pam is about the same as yesterday. Becca didn't get to see her today, she had to work and it is harder to get to the hospital now as she is farther away. I will talk to her tomorrow and keep you informed of what I hear.

I keep hoping that now that she is more alert that she will be able to fight harder to get well.

Praying for your recovery Pam. We want you back, we miss you Sis. Keep fighting girl.

UPDATE:
Becca called so excited ---

They are going to more her out of the ICU as soon as they get a bed. They changed her chest tube and she apparently may not need the lung surgery now, so her lung must be reinflating and the infection must be clearing up. She was so excited it was hard to understand everything. But, I did get that Pam is going to be moved from the ICU when they get a bed and may not need the surgery and they said she may be able to start talking soon too.

The prayers are working and her "fiesty self" is coming through. I knew she could do it and wouldn't let an infection keep her down. Good work Pam and thank you all for your love and support. Becca thanks you too.

Oh Marie if they are taking her out of the ICU-
that means her lung REinflated!!! YES!!!

They will not move a patient with a collapsed lung from ICU unless it has reinflated! So this is really great!
I know this cause- I had a collapsed lung myself a few years ago.

She will be back here before we know it!

Wow that is Awesome news still sending prayers and a can of whoop ass so she can kick this thing properly heheh Great going Pam really glad to hear your doing better. Even tho the road is not clear you have a better shot at it now then before don't loose site hang on to your loved ones close by and feel the warmth of the prayers that surround you. Get well girl.
