UPDATE: Just talked to her daughter. She said Pam opened her eyes and was looking at her and when she asked her if she wanted her to sit with her, Pam smiled. Pam even held her hand today. She was really excited. Keep those prayers coming, her lungs are really still in bad shape and she needs a lot of help. The medication is allowing her to be more alert, but her lungs are not healing very fast. She is still critically ill. Thank you all for your support. ((((Marie)))) Thank you for the updates!! UPDATE: Just talked to Pam's daughter. Pam is pretty much the same. They are going to put in a tracheotomy tomorrow (move the ventilator to her neck from her mouth) so she should be a little more comfortable with the tube out of her mouth. Then they will be able to put in a feeding tube also. Please say some extra prayers for her kids, the stress has been getting to them. Pam's daughter is really sweet and working so hard to stay in college and keep her job going while visiting her mom too, but the stress is wearing on her. Thanks again for all your support.

It is hard when a parent is very ill and in the hospital, I hope they are givin the strength to hold strong against what ever may come. Pam is fight and so are her children My heart, thoughts and prayers goes out to each and everyone of you. Hold on to the love you have for each other and you will be stronger then you thought you could be.

Pam you need to fight this with every cell in your body. Your kids need you back, we want you back. I know you must be tired of being sick and working so hard to get well, but please work harder for your kids and us. I know that sounds selfish but you need to do it, to get off that machine. You know what anniversary is coming up in a couple of weeks and your kids need you for that. You would be so proud of your daughter, she is staying in college, and working at her job, while visiting you too. But the stress is wearing on her. I am sending you all the strength and support I have to get through this. Work harder Pam, you can do it. You have to beat this.
