I have given several soup's out there for you-all. NOW.....Who can tell me how to make a good B L T? Anyone? (THE BEST B L T Will get a prize!!) Add, things that will wake up the taste buds!!!!! just a hint.

First you need bacon, then lettuce then tomato...
|

fresh crisp leatuce, some vine rippen tomatoes ( from your own garden), not too crispy bacon some mayo, some spicey mustard, on white bread. All this with a side of fries and some leamonade.... damn it now I'm drooling on my shirt

I was thinking; like.....toasted bread, mayo, home growen tomatoes, let., 8 strips of bacon(crisp). With iced tea, and a nice peach cobbler.

besides the bacon lettuce and tomato, you need a good DARK rye bread. You also need something that is a combination tangy (like mayonnaise) and spicy at the same time. I myself, grind up different peppers and onions into a fine powder, and mix it with the mayonnaise.
Now, make sure the bacon is nice and crisp, nothing limp. Same thing goes for the lettuce, it needs to be crisp. The tomato needs to be nice and firm, yet not hard. Take your rye bread and toast it lightly, just enough to warm it up and make it crispier. You then take your bacon, lettuce and tomato and layer them on nice and thick. slather some of the mayonnaise mixture onto a second piece of rye toast then repeat the process so you have a double decker sandwich. If you want, you can add a slice of swiss cheese. Oh and make sure you add a little salt and pepper to the tomato when you put it on. |

Some crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, vine ripened tomatoes and a little mayo on toasted bread.. sometimes a piece of cheese is good on it for a change or I use flatbread sometimes too...yummy...

if you realy want to try something new with your blt try using peanutbutter instead of mayo kinda odd but realy good

ooooooo I have been craving a BLT ther past few days, I can't wait til Tomatoes are in season! Crisp bacon , perfectly ripe but not too soft tomatoes, crunchy lettuce on my homemade wheat bread, toasted. Add a slice of real aged swiss if you are in the mood. serve with a dill pickle, kettle chips & fresh brewed iced tea.
