They're no longer together as a band. Chris Cornell was the brain and voice behind the band, he's off on his own doing various things now. He's the best and most certainly a musical genius if there ever was the definition to the term.

Yeah, basically everything Cornell has touched has turned into gold. Audioslave rounded themselves into one of the better rock bands of the decade, and who can forget him and vedder teaming up for Temple of the Dog. His first solo album was also quite good. (We won't speak of his second solo album, haha )

Dave Matthews is from Charlottesville, VA. Not far from where I live, or at least he lived there for a while. For a while it was a big deal.

the dave matthews band....love love love love love them!! saw them several years ago in concert and they were amazing...my favorites songs are #41, crush, dancing nancies, satellite, crash into me, and lover lay down... Becca

I searched his bio Nessa, it's an interesting read, if you are into that type of thing. He formed his band from people he met in Charlottesville. That wasn't his birthplace.
