I am leaning that way too stan. The car ran very good, just had a
knocking noise. Sounded like a risk pin or starting of a rod knock. But
I guess if the timing chain got lose enough to tear some guides or
something up, it could knock too. I have a big handfull of schrapnel,
can't really distinguish any of it as a pitcular part. That is why I'm
going around to some garages tomorrow and see if anybody else has
encountered this on a Caviler.

I need one that goes on your head like a miner!

well not likely it was a whole in the piston, the compression bleeding
into the crankcase would blow the dipstick out along with all your oil.
and if the valve dropped there would be a noticable skip to it

Mon 12/18/06 08:13 PM
hey I think Elgee poured some Bacardi in there not a piston problem
LMAO,ROFLAMO!

Hey fanta, I thought of those also, this is thin very thin crinckled
metal. I am unable to reconize it. pistons are good, compression test
showed that. Valve,s seem okay too.

ya bacardi isnt high enough proof to run one lol tooo waterd down my
brandi on the other hand is like burning airplane fuel in one it burns
so hot it'll melt the valves out!
