Hello all,

I was browsing a travel forum the other day when I came across a question which had started a rather large debate. Some guy in Britain was having a cultural theme party and had asked what clothing and what food best represented Canada. What is your Vote?

A good choice, nanaimo bars came up a bunch of times as well as maple syrup. It was funny because every time something was mentioned, another country made a claim to it.

In talking to people from all over the planet, two things that seem to be quite common in what recognised as Canadian. They are Maple syrup and Mounties. It would seem Canada isn't a unified culture like other countries are due to the diversity of it's inhabitants.
The other thing is a toque. If you do go to a costume party, I would suggest wearing more than a toque though. Unless it's one of "those" parties, then make sure you bring the Maple syrup along too! laugh

What happened to Long Johns. Nobody can stand a cold winter in northern Canada without them. I have 3 pairs myself, pink, white and black. Oh, and Block Heaters for the car.
