Topic: site is all wrong

this site was originally designed as a dating site so I have been told. why is it then the only letters I get are from a 1000 miles or more away, like I am going to meet and take her to lunch today and next week it is dinner and a movie. what happend to the ones who live close enough that we could actually meet.

I get letters from people in Africa..Italy..and even from places that I didn't even know existed..I'm in Alabama..how far could that kind of relationship possibly go?..I don't even bother to wrote those back.

I have traveled for love, that is why I am here in Florida. I am originally from Oklahoma. I would do it all over again even though it didn't work out.

so set up your filters to only show people from 25 miles away or less? I dont have a problem with talking to guys from another STATE..it's talking to a guy in another COUNTRY that doesn't make sense to me.

Same here. I think it's more likely I'll hit by a purple comet wrapped in orange cellophane than ever hear from someone less than 897,000 miles away.
