As subtle as the a sea breeze
soft sensual, I feel you
in the night I squeeze
my pillow, as I weep
a touch of your voice
a whisper in my ear
even though I have not seen you
in my sleep I feel you near
your a melody on my mind
a skip in my heart
you come to my thoughts
in all the crevices of time
I can't think straight
fighting what I feel
I want your gentle touch
your hand on me is the sign
I sang to the angels today
I prayed softly in the night
your my twinkle in the stars
as I look for your spirit in flight
I feel you all around me
as your voice fills my soul
your so special to me now
I deeply want you to know
this is a poem to a man
one that will come in time
a journey not yet taken
in this old heart of mine
when it does I will bellow
all my lungs can take
to announce this eloquent love
on top the mountains I will make
I'll howl it out at the moon
scream it into space
once I know this is for certain
at my side you'll forever take.
