I feel the same way. I hate hearing stories on the news about people taunting them in cages. Like that idiot who got malled by the tiger. Then they punish the kitty! Makes me sick
|

really, I know people don't act like that when they're not at the zoo. I lived outside yosimite park for over 2 years, and most of the people that came up there were afraid they'd get mauled by bears, or moantain lions
|

I live in Fresno, right outside Yosemite! I refuse to live up there because of the rattle snakes and the Lions. lol

yeah, I had to run from a rattle snake when we went to bryce river, I thought it was dead until it started following me,
only time I've been scared cause of an animal, but it was my own fault for poking it with a stick |

ya think lol I love it up there, but I freak with any little movement. The movie "The Great Outdoors" isn't exaggerating the critters in the Sierras. I stayed with a bunch of friends at a cabin last year, way way up at some lake, I forgot the name. I didn't sleep a wink, every noise freaked me out lol

now imagine having to walk down a 1/2 mile driveway at 1a.m., and hearing noises all the way, freaked me out alittle.

why were you out there!? that's like a death wish lol the rattlers were probably plotting to get you!

my driveway was that long and my ride didn't want todrive all the way down it, from that point on I took my own car whenever I left the house

cost of living up there, job availability, missed bigger cities but didn't want to stay in Ca at the time, I regret the decision now but as they say hindsight is 20-20
|

I hate the price of things here. Ca is like it's own little commy country. I want out of here so bad. I'm thinking north though, I still need to be near my ocean.

yeah, I'm going to Colorodo in Sept for school and then probably try to end up in washington, heard its really nice out there

i've never been to washington but i hear it's beautiful also. I love Oregon so i'm guessing it's pretty similar. You can buy beach property there and afford it I've heard.

I'll have to keep that in mind, of course it's pretty far down the road
 but I've heard good things about both states, and the population is pretty small too.
