Soggy, soaked, and sadly for many, their houses were flooded so badly very little was salvageable... including the houses I suspect.
There is more rain on the way... and although I am not complaining...send it west of the Dividing Range please... Did anyone catch the Apology speech made by our Prime Minister, to the Stolen Generation? A true bright spot, on a lot of grey days Time for me to toddle off to bed, so glad to see you all again... And thank goodness for Karma, he kept me sane, when Ry was stuck on the other side of the flood waters for a week.. last week..

More RAIN?!
There seemed to be lots of reports of flooding in Mackay... apparently there weren't too many 2-story dwellings and one lady did take like 30 people in to the second floor of her place!! Well I bet Ry got a lot of fussing over on his safe return! So so happy that you are reunited.
