They mess with your mind, your heart, everything. They are capable of leaving terrible scars on others, and not even bat an eye over it....... it truly is frightening should you ever find yourself caught up with someone like this. Then they can make everyone else believe it is you that is the mental one. amen! And they make you question yourself...question your own intuition and judgement until you are so confuseed you can't find your way out of a brown paper bag! I realized after reading this today and really thinking about it, I still have reprocussions from him, it has been almost 2 years too. I really hope someday he grows a soul and relized what he has done to not only me, but countless others and his 3 sons. |

ive studied alot about it. it seemed that every man in my life had the same traits...well needless to say that there are certain people who attract these kinds. especial mr/ms fixits! someone who trys to fix everyone's problems and take care of them. thats me!!!
it takes a very long time to get over it...if ever honestly. i had a long talk tonight with the guy im dating. he is being punished for my ex's behavior, he is right, but he is willing to try to hang with it and help me thru it. jeff said tonight that all those thoughts left in my head about what the ex drilled in there making me believe about myself are garbage deep down i know i am the woman that i once was...its true, im still trying to figure out how to get that woman back. |

You described my ex here, he was diagnosed with an "antisocial personality behavior disorder." He was extremely violent, alcoholic, did 3-1/2 years in prison for second-degree assault (found this out after I married him), he had knifed another guy in a fight.
Like Catch said, it is really hard to get the garbage he planted out of my head, and I divorced him years ago. I am still amazed I got my daughter and I out of the marriage alive (he swore he would kill me if I divorced him). Thanks for the info, a good refresher course. |

i taught pickup to someone like this before, and it was one of the biggest mistakes ive ever made.
