No picture goes without question...
Basically visual appearance is important, I will totally ignore a blue box everytime |

Why is it so important for people to se your picture before talking to you. Why cant people learn to know the real you instead of seeing how you look first. I believe that if your beautiful inside that your beautiful out. Looks isnt everything but I guess not everyone feels the same. So what do you all think about it??? I prefer to get to know someone before exchanging pictures. I will not dispute the fact that looks is a bonus, but not the entire package. |

Well it goes to the point that - Would you go up to a complete stranger in a bar that you aren't attracted to whatsoever, and flirt with them? Really, attraction is usually first visually, second mentally, third emotionally. You just can't do it backwards and have it work out, well, unless you're sadistic and like failing relationships. Hey, maybe I like adding another tally mark to the "Ain't gonna happen" section in my notebook

i have talked to sooo many women with out photo,s...that im scared to any more..most are just plain obese...im not being rude..maybe shallow...but...physical attraction is the first part of anything...so i go for picture photo,s...

I don't care for artwork pics either. Just wanna see the person behind the post. Most times it seems (IMO) that people with sexy graphic pictures aren't that sexy themselves to begin with. NOT ALL, PEOPLE SO NO ATTACKS.

I respect the fact that some people don't want their pictures out there for whatever reason, but i'd say a huge amount of people on here won't even respond to someone without* a photo. Its just the way it is, I talk to people on here I'm not attracted to and don't hold that against them. A photo is you and if you're not happy with you, how do you expect anybody else to be?

i am okay with people not having a pic of themselves up right away, but eventually it just seems fair if we are going to chat that they need to put up a pic since I have one posted... i work in an environment where i don't meet the people i deal with on a day to day basis most of the time, so eventually putting a face with the name and personality is nice... people who just hide behind the blue box and cannot even find anything interesting to opst as an image just annoy me though because it shows a complete laziness and lack of interest in even trying to reflect a portion of their personality even if they are unable to post a pic of themselves

What really annoys me, is the people that have photos and then artwork, and they change pictures like 150 times a day. And they post in the forums and I end up perving their account, because I haven't seen that particular picture.

granted.. before a personal meeting.. i will require a photo id... lol i do agree.. the attraction has to be there... and its ok to begin to build the bond without pix before.. but before we meet i do want to see a pix (just thought id finish my thought)

Well if this were a just "friends" site, photos wouldn't really matter, but seeing its a dating site, wouldn't you want to be attracted to someone you might be interested in? What if you spent months emailing someone, and getting to know them, then you meet and find out he/she is a 4'11", D&D playing, person that still lives in their mom's basement, that has a hump, bullet proof glasses, and 13 toes? And even if ya look like that, show a pic, someone somewhere will find u attractive!

the thing with that.. some pix work better for different topics than others... if im bein evil... up goes the devil cheerleader... if im thread chattin with a guy.. ill put up a real pict... if im just screwin around.. ill use one of the others... female mood swings..
