Well it's Saturday night & I feel like Chinese food. I go to the China Buffet at least 3 times a month & take a book so I am not so aware of all the couples. About 2 week ago I stopped & helped 2 girls who were broke down & treated them to dinner before they called a tow truck. They thought I was soooo nice. I wonder if they realized how desperately lonely I was that day, it was actually a selfish act. Does anyone else feel weird eating out alone? Anyone else take a book?

nope...sorry you're lonely...i have 3 kids so i relish any alone time i get...you look a little chilly so i'm going to rip the coat off the duck in my front yard and wrap it around you

I'm a trucker so eating alone is normal for me. Reading a book or magazine is good. Just do what you gotta do.Life is to short to worry about small things like that.

I don't eat out much I prefer to eat at home .. I am a great cook you can come over for dinner anytime littleredhen..

I don't do it too often, but I don't like doing it. I had a cupon for a free lunch, and it was about to expire, so I went out by myself(stir-fry place). I self justified it by stopping by a local venue to pick up concert tix, but it was a quick, quiet meal.

Thats 1 more good thing about having children.
I always have company except when they aren't around. lol...that's why i'm on here instead of out or on a date...always a housefull here...all their friends, but at least i always know where my lil darlin's are |

I went out on the road with a trucker friend even drove some. Truckers are very interesting, such diverse people. There was always someone to talk to at the truck stops because most were eating alone. |

HI..... i don't do chinese out, only because i have never seen a meat truck in those resturants................i will fix it at home tho................

i go out often by myself... i bring my cell phone, my mp3 player and a book...or a word find...i find it relaxing...i dont care that people stare at me or whatever...its my ME time...i walk to the resterant by myself, and i eat by myself...its time for me to reflect and just enjoy ME!... we as americans dont really take time for ourselfs as much anymore..its all rushed...life's short..i'm going to enjoy it and myself as much as i can....

I am a great cook you can come over for dinner anytime littleredhen.. awwww Thanks Shoes I love to cook & I am a good cook, but it's no fun to cook & eat alone. (& then do dishes) I miss a guy trying to make me leave the dishes for tomorrow. Hugs from behind & sweet kisses on top of your head...

at least if you eat out alone you know if you want to put out or not lol

When I do go out to eat all by my self. I do not read a book or any ting like that becuse you never know who will walk in the door. Might be who you have been looking for all a long! And you miss it by reading a book.
