Topic: eating out alone

I really don't like eating alone either, I don't mind going for fast food alone, but for nice dinner I don't go unless I have company. That dogs eyes look like he's going to zap ya with laser beams!

I live my life alone even if im in a relationship as my job has me eating alone almost ALWAYS...but TRUST ME, You can MAKE eating out alone fun, by talking and joking with the workers...and others there. But THAT takes a desire to make it happen,lol...

Be comfortable with yourself (by Yourself) other will follow suite. Its no big deal.

I agree with Iam4u. I usually enjoy myself when eating out alone, by talking with the workers and sometimes other patrons. It really isn't a big deal.

i love eating out alone.i can read my paper or book in peace or if I choose,interact with the staff.Also no kid to watch.

I eat out alone, but not to any real restaurants... only like Chipotle or something. I generally listen to my Ipod (or watch a video on it) while I eat... it might look nerdy, but I don't care

Well it's Saturday night & I feel like Chinese food. I go to the China Buffet at least 3 times a month & take a book so I am not so aware of all the couples. About 2 week ago I stopped & helped 2 girls who were broke down & treated them to dinner before they called a tow truck. They thought I was soooo nice. I wonder if they realized how desperately lonely I was that day, it was actually a selfish act. Does anyone else feel weird eating out alone? Anyone else take a book? this is why i do not go out anymore. i despise going everywhere alone. you were not selfish darlin, i am sure they were greatful for your gesture as well.
