I think feminism was the best thing to ever happen to men, free sex, no more shot-gun weddings, marriage as an alternative not an expectation, two salary families and still you dont have to worry about laundry or housecleaning...I could go on and on...but I think you get my drift...

That is not one of the definitions I conform to, such as woman, mother, friend, daughter, employee, etc. I do believe in the principle of the feminist movement, but not to the extremist point. I'm for the automony of my body, to equality in pay, and to not be discriminated against in areas of obvious equality. That said, I do believe in and conform to very "traditional" and some would say sexist, gender roles. Simply put, feminism as a term must be agreed upon before I agree to accept or adopt it into my circles of self definition. |
