congrats to david cook he certainly deserved it!!!!!!! carrie underwood was hot!! OMG...she was amazing and george michael gave a very intense performance. american idol put on a class act finale IMO!! All the performances were awesome! Everybody did such a great job! I loved D.Cook with ZZTop that was HOT! And the commerical OMG! I about fell on the floor and died! My daughter and a friend of ours that was over did! Well fell on the floor not died for real! lol! I loved Bryan Adams, and Seal with Syesha and George Michael it was all a very well put together finale show and we taped it.. I can watch it as often as I want.. I just know all the texting, voting on the telephone all paid off. David Cook your next American Idol! OMG OMG OMG! I can't WAIT to see him on the Tour in July! And when he goes on his own tour the minute he comes near me here in Michigan I will be there.. daughter and friend with me at my side! CHEERS TO DAVID COOK!

could not get a single vote in! i tried for 1 hr and half then gave up We just kept trying the whole four hours of voting.. the first hour only 2 votes.. the second hour added ten more. The last two hours we ended up with about 658 votes!

My two cents on Idol... the better singer didn't get the top spot. Cook's good as a performer but this was started to be a singing competition. When did the focus move away from the singing and on to the performance?

My two cents on Idol... the better singer didn't get the top spot. Cook's good as a performer but this was started to be a singing competition. When did the focus move away from the singing and on to the performance? what are you talking about... you can be both.. david a does not have a stage personality YET The best person WON!!!!!!!!

When did the focus move away from the singing and on to the performance? I have to agree to disagree, it's American Idol, which is more than singing. It's what you bring to your performance as well. Personality plays a major part, and Cookie had that wrapped up and could sing! Archie had a voice that got him through, and he was cute and all that, but not star material, IMHO

IMO David Cook is an awesome singer AND has a great stage personality. Then again, I have a soft spot for rockers. Archuleta is also a phenomenal singer, but I dont really think he has the personality needed to be a performer. He's too shy.
