you can't, to my reckoning, give up something that you don't have. I really do understand the frustration (believe me), but I still enjoy the banter and flirting, even though it most likely will never go anywhere...at least it keeps me in practice

Yes, I have felt THAT same thing and have all but gave up seeking to find a REAL LADY on HERE to live out my life with! Alot of unseen and not spoken truths until after dating them for a month or so...

I gave up months ago -- it finally became obvious that the kind of person I was looking for, simply did not use dating sites. I haven't run across anyone compatible on a dating site since 1999.
I got lucky, though, and the best gf I ever had came back into my life in November. |

I'm about ready to give up on this site maybe.
I dunno about love though. The world is a big place, and I've only seen a small portion of it. I was married for 18 years, before getting divorced. I have two beautiful children from it. I know I suck at being a single person though. My experience is in being married, sharing my life with someone and being in love with 1 person for 18 years. Not as a single person. We were married at 19 years old, (never met in high school, we were from different cities) had our first child at 26 and divorced at 37. I'm not going to find that again, overnight. I know that. To think so, is foolish. The right lady is out there, I just have to keep looking. Maybe I'm sharing to much, but oh well. Thats what single forums are for. Right? |

i think every girl i met soo far r just crazy,digusting,ugly(and im not shallow at all),or just no chemistry. anyone on the same boat ? okay I happen to agree with Webcredo because he makes a good point...let's put it this way...Let's just say you meet a girl that is totally hott and looks like a runway model but she turns out to be a liar, cheater, or even the biggest b you have ever met...but if you look on the inside of a slightly average woman you could find that you have a lot in common and that she is the nicest person in the world. So the choice is yours....either the supermodel b chick or the not so cute girl with a great personality?   |
