Hmmmm, a tiny little irritation,
surprises one when it lodges "under the skin".
The irritation is un-named and festers if not defined
and confined or extracted to its rightful place of understanding.
Understanding is not always quick or easily learned.
One must "clam"p "up"/down depending on the desired outcome.
Pearls be they gem or wisdom,
Both the children of irritation?

I think it is a good metaphor for making good come from bad. I heard a preacher say he had to see hell to find heaven. Some of my favorite writers had many torments, maybe it may them crave to find beauty and truth in their, oh, and think of the pain of birth, and the beautiful innocence of a newborn.
