Say you had a friend on yahoo, who everytime they messaged you, never said "hello" or anything "normal" but instead said things like "licks your earwax" or anything weird like that. What would you think?

What would you think? I have a friend that texts, emails and im's wacky stuff all the time.. He's just quirky like that, part of his charm as a friend anyway... lol

I would think "Lol" in those three letters exactly, then tell them to act normal for once? Depends on if they're friends or not.

I agree jamie. For the past few days I have been permanently offline to him. I will talk to him eventually but he's been leaving me weird offline messages too.

If they have a weird sense of humor they may just be trying to get a reaction. If you like them ask. If it's too weird, it isn't fun. Yuck..earwax..that has to be a joke, of some kind.

He also says stuff like "pokes you in the side" all of his stuff has to do with actions. Never a simple "hello"
