Just curious........would you consider Satanists to be Pagan or
Christian and why? See what kinds of thinking come out here. Please
don't use this topic as a bashing platform!

Come on Rambill and Ghostrecon, I know you guys will want to chime in on
this thread. I am interested in seeing other peoples viewpoints here.

I found on websites Satanism is not Pagan.
Pagan includes many different faiths including Wicca one site said.

Christian
because it uses the same concepts from that system.
satanism only came to be in tie with the christian faith.
Satanism is its "other half" since they belive in the "pure good / pure
evil thing.
Where as the "pagan" system is nature bound and in most cases sees no
greater evil or good but the balance such as order to chaos. there is
the "left hand" however which is a pagan path of "chaos" just as there
is the pagan path of pure "light" but this is more the result of us
beign bredd into the idea that one "must " ether be good or evil. where
as its human nature and in nature itself to be both. good and evil is
something created by people, defined by our own definitions. where in
truth there is no good or evil only that of choas and harmony.
but back to the left hand thing, sometiems people place the satanism
faith within the "left hand" path. although to "overall" pagan belif
there is no greater evil so in theory it shouldn't be added in there,
but there are some whom think it should. but that in its own, the "left
hand" is not the same as the "right hand" even though they are one.

Perhaps satan is your ego = dark and evil.
And God is spirit = love and light.

Just a thought from someone who is more spiritual than religious.

Pagan just means they don't believe in the God of Abraham that's all.
Not anything to do with Satanic worship. Arabs use to believe in many
Pagan Deities. Until Islam was introduced. But still many Born again
Christians believe that Arabs still believe in their pagan Gods. Such
Closed mindedness.

They are stead fast in there convictions that they have the only way to
salvation and all other's are miss guided or devil worshipers. I say let
them browed in their little Idaho. As long as they stay there I'll be

Evil spirits have been awakened. The Earth trembles with anticipation. The elves of Christmas lie in the gutters, their hangovers throbbing in their skulls, as the darkness of black Satanic light shines in their eyes.

A man named Smiless has unearthed a wicked thread of bestiality that had been lying dormant for many moons. The carcasses of dead unsaved Christians lift their fleshless bones as the dust of their rotted skin slithers to the floor of the tomb. Their tortured souls stirred by the post of this promiscuous prankster.

A beam of light shimmers through the caverns of the thread, illuminating the lifeless posts of the ghosts of chatter past. Will the conversation be resurrected by an influx of pompous pious prudes prepared to do battle for or against the cause? Will the Christians come to save the lost souls, or to damn the ones who have found their way in the light of other faiths?

Only elves and leprechauns know the answers to the mysterious of these cyber tombs. Swords made of words will be drawn from the sheathes of tongues and tamped against the keys of the almightily computer keyboard. Cyber lingo will commence and the blood of emotions will flow in the name of sky gods and demons of the underworld. Those who favor spirituality over spaghetti will argue against physicality, whilst the great gourmets of sensuality will flirt their iniquitous lust in the eyes of all who dare to behold them.

With their hands raised as shields the self-righteous will read the words in the thread between the gaps of their fingers. They will then post a gauntlet of responses in the hopes of frightening the Satan worshipers into submission. Cackling at the futile posts of those who fear to devour the fruits of life the imps will boast of the joys that they indulge.

Once again, peering through the gaps between their fingers the pious posters will repudiate their desires as their drool spews from their lips dripping audaciously into the crevices between the keys of their keyboard. Mendaciously they will pretend that they aren't interested in the lustfully delicious behavior of the Satanists. They will reject this life as being incomparable to the infinite bliss of God's spiritual heaven.

Cackling once again the Satanists will simple say, "This IS spiritual heaven you numskulls! If you wait until you die to smell the roses you will have wasted all of creation and the maker of your soul will be grossly unhappy with your great impudence for creation!"

Bwahhha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

With the last echoes of the cackle a flock of vampire bats takes flight from the ceiling of the tome to raid every thread in the entire Religion Forum.

Satanists... No Christian would admit to devil worship. It's an oxymoron.

I once sat in a bookstore overhearing some Christian's talking about hell for a straight two hours. They laughed about it, and ridiculed that those who don't understand will be sent there. They thought it was funny that people will go to hell and will be suffering, because of the stubborness of not accepting christ.

I bit my tongue and left.
