Why is it that none of the good bands tour through WA anymore? REM is touring with Modest Mouse and the Nationals in May and they're jumping from Portland to Vancover BC 
Did you know REM's Peter Buck has a house in Walla Walla? Wow, that's cool.Didn't they come from a mid-west college town? Last summer, I painted the house next door to Eddie Vedder's house in West Seattle. Peter's wife, Stephanie is a Whitman College graduate, (Whitman is located here in WW). |

lol, good to hear that someone else is from Yakima... or, good to hear that I'm not the only one stuck here at the moment. Just wanted to pop in, and do my part by adding to the chat. So here it is.... Someone up above mentioned Kurt Cobain... and Kurt, said, that he got the best drugs he ever did, in Yakima... Lol... even though he over-dosed somewhere else.
