If you ask me, love should be celebrated each and every day, not just some day on the calendar.

So that's a tip for you men out there, express your love with roses and chocolate every day! Not just on Valentine's Day.

Now all I have to do is find the man for me who will do just that.

You do have a point.... Love should be expressed every day and each day you are with someone, not just on that certain day on the calendar...... I agree with you 100%

If not a material gift; give her the gift of love. Keep in mind of the little things in life.

Ah true. We don't want to encourage obesity. Lol.

Then the news will be all over that story..
"This just in! Chocolate is the leading food item in obesity" Damn news

Well... if I ate chocolate every day, I'd be fat. And roses, they aren't my cup of tea, nor do I care for potpourri... which would be all over if I had roses daily.

Love IS celebrated every day.

Romance, however, takes varying forms. Romance is not an action, but rather a perspective, a feeling and an attitude. A romantic man is not necesarily the one who buys gifts. He is the one who remembers how you make him feel and appreciates that. His appreciation comes out in words and in deeds.

Telling you he loves you, cooking you dinner. Bringing you coffee or a glass of whatever so you don't have to get up. The kiss before you leave and the smile on his face the next time he sees you. Leaving the toilet seat(s) down, rinsing his dishes, or washing them. The sound in his voice when he talks about his feelings. The way he instinctively sleeps closer to you in bed, or slides to your side when you get up.

All these things are romance. It is up to both of us, men and women, to keep this alive and not get complacent. It takes two to tango.

She seems to have forgotten about the part where I snored in her ear, took all the blankets and wouldn't let her sleep!

Let someone you really love die, then you realize just how short time is & really regret all the time wasted in petty arguments & hrs worked away from them.

YES, LOVE them everyday, not just on V day.
