“Looking”

I came to seek.
Through this screen I peek.
As I look into this place.
At each and every face.

There are ones that live close.
As I sit and compose.
I think what if it doesn’t work out.
For there is always that doubt.

One never knows what will be.
Until they take the time to see.
Then there are those that live far.
It’s like reaching for a star.

At times they seem as far as the moon.
Across the skies I would fly in a balloon.
Just to reach out and be able to touch.
At times I wonder is that too much?

Could it be I’m asking for a miracle?
Will there be and obstacle?
Will there be something to stop me in my track?
And send me reeling back.

Will it send me back to the start?
And hand me back my heart.
Will this really be the way?
I will find a love some day.
