Montana, It's been so long, it's antideluvian = before the great flood! Lilith -- you got a couple letters switched around in there! It's antediluvian; "ante" meaning "before" as opposed to "anti" meaning "against" !! I suspect the "diluvian" part stems from the same Latin root as "deluge," although I don't know that for sure. My word is "megatherium," a giant prehistoric ground sloth.

Are you familiar with "antebellum"? I like that one too. Generally see it used to describe homes, etc., that predate the Civil War.
