our asses off to lie, steal and cheat our way into a psuedo democracy so the rest of America will believe we are the strongest country in the world. Taxes are just a way to lead you people to believe that you are not being ripped off for EVERY single purchase you make, every dollar you earn and every bill you pay.....look at my underwear!!!! |

I used to feel that way, Bryon until I went to Mississippi< they didnt
pay many taxes but they were lax in education, law enforcement, and you see what happened during Katrina! As long as they are used for good purposes and what they are intended for! Then I dont mind so bad! |

Fanta, good intentions, but they raise taxes to fatten their own
wallets more than than just to cover the true problems. They can stop the corruption, embezzling, and pork barrel funding and have more than if they doubled our taxes! Our paychecks are taxed 30% already +/-, then we're taxed 8% on the rest! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! I agree, democrats answer only compounds the problem and doesn't fix it. Pretty soon we'll be paying to go to work! |

no body wants to pay taxes but they are necessary for education and
such. this is our country and we have to support it. i think the problem comes in when no one gets a tax break but the rich. when you look at the discrepency between the percentage of income that is paid into the tax system between the affluent and the poor, the poor pay a greater part of their income than the rich. the poor spend a bigger percentage of their income into taxes while making less. |
