Well one day i was going down this road and it was late at night, well there was a squirrel that ran into the left hand lane, So i slowed way down and went right a little but the squirrel ran back to the right i was doing 45 when i slowed down and there was not anyone behind me. So the squirrel decided to go right and right under my car.. It seems almost any animal does this. I wonder why?

Well i don't know i tend to do it off instinct. I have also seen it with deer, and ect.

They are programmed, and act on instict. They do not have any concept of the road, when they see danger, their instict is to run, back to safety.

it's a well known fact that most squirrels are very depressed and often suicidal

lol is it coincidence that they run back to their homes off instinct, or maybe in animal generations they just been told humans usual run them over so they tell em to run the oppasite direction lol

smile:smile:

i don't understand why squirrel does that.

i'm proud that you slow down.

last year during the summer, going to south jersey birds kept flying very close to my windshield.

it got so bad(almost every day) that i pull to the side of the road and decide to call my friend and tell him about this, since it keep reoccuring.

he said, "don't worry, the bird was just trying to commite sucide and you wouldn't help him. so he is forcing you to help him end his life." of course i didn't find it funny.

i just drove very slow, when i came to the part of the road where i know this bird was flying low.
