Do the Math.....

I was riding to work yesterday when I observed a female driver, who cut
right in front of a pickup truck, causing the driver to drive onto the
shoulder to avoid hitting her. This evidently angered the driver enough
that he hung his arm out his window and gave the woman the finger. "Man,
that guy is stupid," I thought to myself. I ALWAYS smile nicely and
wave in a sheepish manner whenever a female does anything to me in
traffic, and here's why:

I drive 48 miles each way every day to work, That's 96 miles each day.

Of these, 16 miles each way is bumper-to-bumper.

Most of the bumper-to-bumper is on an 8 lane highway.

There are 7 cars every 40 feet for 32 miles.

That works out to 982 cars every mile, or 31,424 cars.

Even though the rest of the 32 miles is not bumper-to-bumper, I figure I
pass at least another 4000 cars.

That brings the number to something like 36,000 cars that I pass every
day.

Statistically, females drive half of these, That's 18,000 women drivers!

In any given group of females, 1 in 28 has PMS, That's 642.

According to Cosmopolitan, 70% describe their love life as dissatisfying
or unrewarding, That's 449.

According to the National Institute of Health, 22% of all females have
seriously considered suicide or homicide, That's 98.

And 34% describe men as their biggest problem, That's 33.

According to the National Rifle Association, 5% of all females carry
weapons and this number is increasing.

That means that EVERY SINGLE DAY, I drive past at least one female that
has a lousy love life, thinks men are her biggest problem, has seriously

considered suicide or homicide, has PMS, and is armed.

Give her the finger? I don't think so.

Oh my gosh, this is so good. Will have to share this one with friends.

I agree though, not getting worth shot at because someone cuts you off
in traffic.

Thanks, I needed a smile today.

I have always been armed, I will remain armed.....I will also extend my
ARM and flip a beautiful middle finger at anyone who violates the rules
of the road......it'll more than likely be worse if i have to compromise
my driving or even worse if I wreck my car.

I was looking at the stats on this and the one that says "In any given
group of females, 1 in 28 has PMS, That's 642." I think is wrong since
it's based solely on the days in a month. If I'm correct woman suffer
from PMS more than "One" day a month (right)?

With that said and since the Ratio of this number is also equal to the
final conclusion: That would mean he drives by 3, 4 or 5 woman that are
armed and Homicidal (dependent on how many days a month a woman
experinces PMS).....

i've seen the same thing iam but sometimes people are just way too
careless on the road. i don't make it a habit of showing my displeasure
to bad drivers but sometimes you just let it fly and both of you have to
deal with your consequences

I've been cut-off several times and pushed into the shoulder, squeezed,
or rode half-on half-off the road and fortunately didn't have an
accident. yeah, I get pissed at the other driver and react, but
honestly, most often it was my own damn fault for speeding. It's hard
for someone to safely chage lanes, when there's some idiot who appears
out of no-where moments between when a driver checks his rearview
mirror and begins excecuting their lane change!

And yes, I guess I just called myself an idiot. But I'm trying...

You ain't kidding 4U, I've probably got close to a mil in car miles
with infrequent mishaps. It's not like 1978 when I started driving, and
I love motorcycling but haven't in about 10 years because of
over-crowding and careless drivers.

Heres a prayer for you on that subject

Heavenly Father, Help us remember that the person who cut us off in
traffic last night is a single mother who worked nine hours that day and
is rushing home to cook dinner, help with homework, do the laundry and
spend a few precious moments with her children.
