I heard this statement made the other day and it made me stop and think, I do think its true! Tell me what you think...heres the statement:
MEN FALL IN LOVE WITH THEIR EYES, WOMEN FALL IN LOVE WITH THEIR EARS.

Now if you stop and think about it, some women can be smoothed talked. I must admit, some of you men are pretty good at it too! BUT we love to hear nice things about us and we like to hear those 3 little words!
Now I do believe that some men, not all men, do go by looks. They mostly judge a woman by her outside. I do think there has to be that first attraction that catches the eye, but I don't think it all has to be based on looks.
So what do you think?

both male and females should feel love in their hearts. anything else is just a start of love.

I know I go by looks at first but it's hard cause I'm physically attracted to that woman but she might end up being just like Paris Hilton.....I would have to run fast......
And then there's the one's that are less attractive that I wouldn't want to have a relationship with but as a really good friend cause I don't think it would be right for the both of us if I have no feeling for her more than just friends.

Pffffft, personality trumps looks most of the time. A hot blonde with big a$$ hooties and that is dumb as a hammer is amusing to play with, but rather annoying to live with.

Ill agree, but like you said, not all men are that way. Looks as most do is importunate, to me though looking at this it's all in how you know yourself. Yes I use my eyes, but I also use whats in me as a man to see the inner person. my little saying is. You can always listen to some one but whats importunate is to hear someone...

Heres the thing...have you ever been with someone that wasn't that cute BUT the longer you were with them...the cutier they became? I would pick a man with a great personality and average looks over a man with great looks and no personality.
I have yet to see a REAL picture of you..but when you are in your bear suit..you look pretty darn cute!! Plus you are a caring person with a great personality..I think thats a plus!

Wow, you know you are so right there! I have always said that I want a man that is a good listener. He listened but did he really hear me? Sometimes I wonder if men just block me out..LOL, is it me or do all women feel this way? Esp when its Sunday and they are watching football. I know they are not listening when I ask, "How is your son?" His reply is, "Ok baby I miss you too."

I'm sure that there are a lot of women that feel that way. I joke around with women and tell them, That i'm more then you can handle. Well the truth is, I am! Most women are afraid to actually be with a man that actually can love and be affectionate,and show the inner him. That is because they don't know how to give themselves as the way I do. A lot will say they can on the net. Hm, I was talking to someone yesterday about how people are on the net as far as chatting, compare to face to face. Most are a little different when your face to face. So thats where I say action speaks louder then words.

looks do help to start but there must be a brain and a decent personality to go with it,dingaling blonds,and bossy or attituded people just dont cut it. Oh well ive just give up and come here to be with good people and here all of your opinions anyway smile all and have a good evening
