Parents should be there to support their kids raising kids. I don't have any grandchildren yet, but when I do I'll be affirming their parental decisions and/or modeling good parenting skills so they can follow after. Sorry sweetie. When I raised my oldest daughter I spent a couple years under my dad's roof. He was my hero and always believed in me. Of course when I screwed up he was there to show me the way.
