Right on sister confident.... Thats the funny thing to 99% of the woman could care less....so get a clue guys....its not about what you have.....or your job...its about you...and this goes for gals too. but unfortunately, i don't believe that 99% of women don't care. we live in an age of gluttonous materialism, of course thats all some folks(women too)will look for. we all seek our own mental ideal of perfection in another person. for many people, perfection comes with material.

Well I don't think that is true......It never has been with me....It won't go with me.....so to me it just doesn't mean to much in the whole scheme of life. People should mean more then materialistic stuff........I would rather get to the heart and soul of another human being then to know how much stuff he has.

Well I don't think that is true......It never has been with me....It won't go with me.....so to me it just doesn't mean to much in the whole scheme of life. People should mean more then materialistic stuff........I would rather get to the heart and soul of another human being then to know how much stuff he has. I don't care what someone has. It's nice to enjoy but I care about the person. I've dated guys where everything I HAD was more than they did. It's all about the person to me. And how I feel when I am with them.

Some men have no feelings, except for themselves. Being married to some is only a ring. Lying about small things like jobs, etc., who can it hurt, the woman will never find out the truth, or so they think (((laughing))) Some men are all about themselves and unfortunately, they try to worm their way into our hearts, then break them. That's my story and I am sticking to it. I have been through the lies, deceit, and all about themselves attitudes and a friend told me, no company is better than the wrong company. Never were truer words spoken

How about THIS one.... They tell you how much they want you... and only you. That miles mean NOTHING, you are the one for them. They pore their heart out, fill your ears with sooooooooo many pretty words... and then....... Dead silence... for days........ or longer No email, no IM, no phone call.......... and WORSE.. NO reply to your attempts to reach them. then when they get back in touch.... no answer to where have you been?... and just want to continue the conversation where they left off (oh honey, I think I am falling for you) uummm.... yeah.. like I fell off the cabbage truck yesterday! You want me.. you earn me.... end of story!

most guys feel the need to exaggerate their assets (lie)when faced with competition. They figure if they can hold your attention long enough for you to get to know them, it will all work out. "The end would justify the means" so to speak. Yet when it blows up in their face they act all surprised lol

Perhaps it's the competitive environment. I totally agree with you - be upfront about everything... but a dating site, to me, is a way to Meet people... I feel (and this is from experience) one should decide if the person is a soulmate until they've spent some actual time (not virtual time) with them... totally agree.....what I don't get is how would you ever find your soulmate if all your doing is lying....I have a real beef with that....If someone is themselves and totally honest on both men and womens parts they would actually not have to worry about getting out of the lies in the first place. Which would then free them up to find the real deal. It seems, in a virtual world, virtual lives are created...prefer the real!
