I am just curious of your story. Did you go to church as a kid? Did you find religion as an adult? Was anyone in your life religious?

A few days after my mom passed away, God instilled in my heart some unspoken words of comfort and directiion that couldn't have been clearer than if someone had actually said them to me.

When I was 13 one of my foster brothers used to attend church and he brought home tapes and stuff and would do bible study with me.

I think he came after me, I don't know that I have any other experience but to believe that Jesus wanted to love me.

With all due respect, rabbit, what event took place in your life that caused you to believe what you believe?

Well I got down on my knees and prayed for God to take the pain and tourmoil out of my life, I did this daily for years and years, was saved as a Baptist did all of the things that God required of me.

Then one day I prayed I begged for God to take the pain away, and I felt a presence that made me realize that God couldn't help, instead a mother like feeling of a woman telling me to get off my dumb ass and help myself.

That is where I found the Goddess...... and I thank her every day.

Well it wasn't a sudden event more of a long slow realization. I was raised in a church going family and it wasn't until about my 30's that I started to realize that miracles did not exist in our modern day. Since they did not exist now then that means that they did not exist at the time of the Bible. If that was true then that meant that Jesus was more like a story teller or a street magician. About this time I heard a liberal pastor and Conservative pastor debate the Bible and the liberal pastor held all the same views I did. Since someone as high up as a pastor held my views it made me feel more comfortable in the Church for a while longer. However the church started to concentrate on homosexuality and things of this nature. I couldn't even find one place were Jesus talks about it. The only thing I saw the Bible talk about was how the poor were blessed, the weak were blessed ,the meek would inherit the earth. What you do for the least you do for me. I know we in the western world are probably the richest people the world has ever seen. The mother in the middle of Africa trying to carry three kids away from a violent warlord. She is meek, weak and poor. She must be Gods chosen one. This got me to the point were I realized that God (if he was loving) would not just save part of his people. He would save all of them, they would all go to heaven regardless of how smart they were or how lucky they were in in where they lived.

I was raised in a religious family all my life, I attended private schools until i went off to college,,,

As life changed so did my beliefs and I searched for answers to the unanswered questions,,,

Loss in life as well as Illness has brought me to a higher understanding of how miralces and the unknown have entered into my life,,, I have finally come to a calm a peace so to say,,,,

My life good or bad is of my doing,,, yet I know that with all the bad thier is the good and within I truely believe there is more to this world than life and death,,, Beyond the rainbows beyond the gray ,,, there is spirits dancing in like,,, singing in song,, and looking down upon us,,, Shaking there heads,,,, LOL,.., saying,,, Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh if they only new..
