Through my time in life I've noticed women are the worst with this, whereas I am quite honest and forthright most just shy away from telling me the truth. Only have known a couple of women that were actually honest with me, so what is the problem with being honest? I understand you don't want to "hurt" anyone, but you do realize it hurts more when we have to find out on our own, right? It's not a difficult concept to understand, honesty leads to trust, trust leads to a healthy relationship. So I suppose the question is, do women realize that it hurts more to find out rather than be told? If you aren't interested say it, if you are say it.

hey...i dont like to hurt people but in the long run honesty the best policy...i'll tell the truth no matter how much it hurts me or the person i'm telling...

It seems to be a problem with most men on here...they lump all women together and we arent all alike

okay i've occasionally found out later
- he has a prison record
- doesn't work full-time
- lives at home
- has babies he forgot to mention


what're your women lying about?

sometimes honesty only causes more problems.. it's a lose/lose situation at times... some men and women can't take rejection so when rejected they freak out.. I've been on the wrong end of that one too many times... Now it's always "me".. Just "me" I am the problem... they go away feeling good and really no way to ever find out...

My nos egrows if I lie so I try to be honest....dammit....brb...my nose......

I agree...too many times i've heard things like after i got out...mom leave me alone i'm on the phone...oh yeah..i have a kid...

this is all after i think they're being pretty honest...and ask them if they have kids or live at home. or have done time...and told me NO.

someone posted a thread not long ago about how he couldn't get out of his relationship because they had a kid..so I looked at his profile and it said single, no kids.


so if you are going to lie you should be smarter..when I called him on it he disappeared

i rember that..i read it..but at the time i wasnt posting things..i'll be honest..at the beginning the people on here scared me...but i'm kool with them now

I know that now...it just was a new experince for me...and it scared me a bit....EHh thats the past...i post and e-mail people now....FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going off experience, don't mean to generalize but of the some odd hundereds of women I've known only about two of them have been honest and forthright...so it's not like I have a whole lot to work with when it comes to this issue.
