maybe start another online relationship. My last one resulted in 7 great years of marriage, but 10 years here in New Mexico. 2000 miles away from my home in Maryland.
I guess the thought of getting involved with someone online that is more than 75-100 miles away sorta scares me a little. Aww... who am I kiddin', it scares the hell out of me! Which is mainly why I'm on here seeking advice from strangers! |

unless you're in a small town or something, there's a good chance there's someone local you can meet. but 75-100 miles isn't really that bad...
you're gonna hear "Distance doesn't matter if you love someone." I say It does matter - if for any reason, logistics. distance can be a strain. If you guys are great together, then 75-100 isn't really bad at all. (and in NM, it's all flat anyway! haha) 300-600 miles, well.... so, based on 75-100, I'd say if she's great and you're great together, why not... |

Do what makes you comfortable.. Only you know what that is, how far you're willing to go and to what lengths your willing to make a relationship....

It can work if you have the financial and emotional resources to support it AND if someone is willing to move.
|
|
|
|
It all depends on how you feel and the availability and viability of you each seeing each other regularly.
How far away is she? How much investment are you willing to make in an online relationship? Plans to meet? |

650 odd miles lilth Well, That is obviously a 12 hour drive, or less if you do it at night. And a better flight. Do you think you could post a bit more about the situation so that we migh understand it better? BTW, I'm currently involved in a relationship that is roughly twice that distance... |

I met a man, a fellow soldier on Myspace. I'm here at FT. Campbell, KY and he is at FT. Hood in Texas we are somehow making it work, we talk everyday and webcam everynight..When I'm finished with my Army training I will be moving there to be with him..I took the gamble and rolled the dice and I'm very happy that I took a chance! Anyways I will be meeting him for the first time Valentines Day, 4days..I'm so excited and can't wait to meet the man who makes my life complete...
