What would be the point? You'd just stick your fingers in your ears as usual and go back to your "research."

Your defending my position, we can't be the world police. We have our own interests here at home that need to be attended to, and we can't bother ourselves with everyone's problems. Some of the world issues outweigh others and it should be looked at in that manner. The government here is screwed up in that idea because whenever something goes wrong here we can strew it about and put it on nations that shouldn't be the focus such as we did with Iraq. Wherever Osama is he should be the one we go after, afterall that was the point made in the speech after 9/11. How are we to make anyone pay for what happened if we keep straying off the original plan and intentions?
OBL is more than likely hiding in Pakistan. How about we invade them too? Hell, why not just invade everybody while we're at it? It's not like our military is already stretched way too thin being the world police as it is...

Sorry, wasn't trying to come off like I was making an argument.

As far as Osama goes, at this point, I'd say 'f' him. Deal with the mess in this country first, namely our porous borders.

Madisonman..Let me create a hypothetical situation concerning torture for you to solve for me: The CIA has in their custody a person whom they suspect knows the details of a plot to use explosive laden trucks, dirty-bombs, and/or suicide bombers to target specifically YOUR children and immediate family. Failure to capture the group will result in the probable success of the plot. Would you be happy and satisfied with the response from the CIA that " Well, We asked him to tell us but he said no so, respecting your views on using any methods that might be construed as torture at some later date, there is nothing we can do.We are sorry and good luck at protecting your family." Would you just say "Oh, well" and feel good about the situation?

I think Osama should definatly be on the list, but we need to manage our troops a lot better than we are currently. Our borders definatly need to be handled, but we also can't lose focus of Osama because we vowed to catch him and make him pay for what he has done.
