Yeah, I'm a really shy person, so I tend to make a lot of things awkward when I try to talk to people, especially a guy that caught my eye.

But working in a grocery store, definitely does not help.. It's hard watching all these good looking, or just genuinely nice guys come and go and all I can do is just look at them, and say the whole "Hi, how are you?.. Have a nice day."

I wish I was better at talking to guys, haha. It sucks.

Its true, its the same way for most people.

same way i feel working at the bank, but towards the ladies.
Atleast your cute, I'm sure they're just as scared of talking to you as you are of them.
I highly doubt that, lol.

Just take the chance, it never hurts to try right?

I'm too shy for that.. you know, the whole taking a chance part, ahha.

But uhm, theres this guy that always comes in,
and always comes through my til when I'm working,
and he makes me laugh soo hard, everytime,
I can't even look him in the eye anymore..
but I'm pretty sure he's married, or like,
in a relationship of some sort.

That's usually why I like to keep my distance at work,
most are already taken.

There is no one on here that I would not talk to in real life. But this is a setup. A contrivance to stimulate interaction, flirting, and discussion like a party or social event where there are games or fixed topics to discuss. Makes it easy for people to approach, talk, have fun and connect.

And, it works. This type of interaction is an excellent way to bring people together. It is a good way to allow people to get to know one another...even to know them well...on an intellectual level. That is what keeps me coming back here.

Sadly, skill in dialogue and conversation is lacking in face to face social interaction today. Maybe that is changing...

So? NOt everyone can be married. And obviously if he comes through your line all the time, he could be attracted. Its simple male thinking "Maybe if i keep going by, she'll talk to me!!!!!!" Try it out. Then tell me if i'm wrong or not.
I dare you!
No, I double dog dare you!

I am not shy in person. I open the door usually to conversation if the timing is right and it seems appropriate. But men are such freakn chickens! explode

I cannn't, lol.. Like, I see him, I start laughing, and I turn my head away.. like, I'm pretty sure he's baked everytime he comes in, cause like.. ooh man.. he always seems so disoriented, which is why I'm always laughing at him.

I don't know. I gotta shake the shyness.. I just can't.

i am completely oblivious to any flirting that people do in person (although it's not like there's a ton, so I don't get a lot of practice at recognizing it!) Plus, i'm shy and HORRIBLE at small talk. the internet is just easier all around.

I may not be a guy, but I would definitely make small talk with you about the length of your hair.

Honestly..

a) how long have you been growing it
b) how much longer do you plan on growing it
c) are you going to cut&donate it
d) what kind of shampoo do you use.

ect. ha

On the internet, do you find yourself talking to and flirting with people that if you saw in real life, you more then likely wouldn't approach, or even think about getting to know?

haha! those are good questions!
a) in the 8th grade i got my last "oh my god, what did you do to my hair!!" haircut and it was about shoulder length. i decided "screw this" and have been keeping it long ever since.
b) I keep it pretty much this length. i don't like sitting on it so once it gets below my butt, i cut off 5-6 inches and let it grow again.
c) since i don't think i look good AT ALL with short hair, i don't plan on getting it cut. it's sorta my security blanket too. Plus, it's the one thing people compliment me on. as for donating it, there is SO much going around about how many of the hair donation charities are not what they claim (like Locks of Love) and so much of the hair gets thrown out or used by wigmakers to sell to the general public. I'm not sacrificing my hair so some rich lady can have it for extensions!
c) shampoo and conditioner that i use is Back to Basics sold at Ulta or Beauty brand stores. I get the vanilla plum variety and it smells SO GOOD!

I do find it easier to flirt online than if I was face to face, but face to face I am very verbal about what I want and if I see something or someone in real life that I want then I open my mouth and say "Whats up??" Hey the worst they could say is no right??
