So forgive me if this question has been asked. But how is it possible to justify there being a God if we cannot prove he/she/it exists?
True, it may exist, and I cannot prove otherwise, but on that same line of reasoning, I can't prove that Santa Clause doesn't exist either. We stopped believing in fairy tales and imaginary friends at a young age, yet we seem to hold on to this one. Do we simply as humans need an object to worship/blame in order to justify our actions? Just curious about others opinions, not trying to start a war. |

Well personaly I like to think there is a higher being than myself but I have no clue. I guess that's why they call it faith.

Oh peccy, you have entered the war zone, but it is a loving one if that could possibly be.
There are many on here who will answer from the bible and many others who will answer from a philosophical view and still others like me who just have my own belief and it falls in no certain catagory. You will enjoy it if they all come to play. I do not believe in a god, nor a religion but am not atheist as I believe in a personal power, spirit or energy that resides in all of us. An energy that we emit and absorb that is us. No god outside of the body but a power inside. Good luck in here. It is definitely interesting. |

A LOT OF KIDS CAN PROVE THAT SANTA CLAUSE DOES NOT EXIST BECAUSE THEY CATCH THEIR PARENTS LEAVING THE GIFTS UNDER THE TREE OR THEY FIND THEM BEFORE CHRISTMAS EVER COMES..
WE CAN'T PROVE THAT HE DOES EXIST, BUT ON THE OTHER HAND, WE CANNOT PROVE THAT HE DOESNT. BUT I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO EXPLANATION AS TO HOW ANY OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS CAME INTO THIS WORLD EXCEPT BY THE HAND OF GOD. |

I'm what they call a "believer", but am somewhat disillusioned and dissatisfied with God at the moment. However, that does not change the truth. My status as a "believer" or "Christian" does not nor will ever change the fact that the Bible is a non-fiction book and the information in it is factual and can and has been proven. Maybe you could look at it this way...we believe many historical figures lived and the books which tell us about them and their lives are factual as well. Do we question whether those ppl really existed just because we did not meet them or know them? With the Bible and God, we question it because of the miracles and spiritual aspects which elude us in this day and age. Hope that helps you find your own perspective.

im still alive and i have no answer other than God and miracles. I can not be swayed from the realization of God taking place in my life. I'm a two time miracle and there's nothing that can or could sway my judgement or believe in the direct discernment that God exists, besides, we're in the end times. just look at all the events taking place, it's all biblical, i don't think I need to utter another defending word and if I did, I pray for your lack of faith.

And another thing....Although I do believe there is a higher power, I think there are way to many comandments. If there was only 5 instead of 10 I think I would be ok as far as going to heaven.

Isn't faith by definition, Belief without proof? I have faith...in myself, because I know I exist, or else there would be nothing for you to read.
I am trying to sway no one/ If it makes you happy, then believe it. In the end you opinion of yourself is all that really matters. |

Do we simply as humans need an object to worship/blame in order to justify our actions? Just curious about others opinions, not trying to start a war. The following are my personal opinions, as per your request. All you need to know is that you are a child of the universe. Everything else should be obvious. Nothing wrong with worshiping your parent entity is there? Where ‘worship’, here, is simply mean to love, revere, and stand in awe of your creator, the universe. You are directly connected to the universe. You are a part of it. You didn’t come from elsewhere. The power of the universe is yours because you are this universe. The universe loves you. How could it not? If you need justification for your actions just realize this,… Everything in this universe is of this universe. Therefore to cause harm to any sentient being in this universe is to harm the universe itself. Why would you want to harm the entity that ultimately gave rise to your existence? This is the only principle you need to fully understand. You cannot cease to exist, and there was never a time when you were not. You are this universe. Or at least an inseparable, indivisible part of it. There’s nothing else to be. Again, I remind you that this is just my personal view. |

I am trying to sway no one/ If it makes you happy, then believe it. In the end you opinion of yourself is all that really matters. well, part of the definition of faith is Belief and to hold something true without proof is the definition of belief so in a way yes. You can not prove either way whether or not he exists. |
