I Know an Earthly Angel

I know a woman, one who listened and was tentative about
my dreams, my goals, my aspirations everything my heart
felt I would divulge to her.

Her intelligent afterthoughts, showing me she listened by her responses
to what I wanted to see in future journeys of time and space
or possibilities of her and me but I concur.

Her ingenious ability to make me smile, her honest opinion all the while,
moving me toward a positive realization that as my Angel on earth,
everything I wanted was in my grasp.

Day in and day out she travelled relentlessly through my thoughts, her smile,
her walk, even the way her eyes seem to penetrate my soul when she looked
at me, sends my senses ablaze with emotions and feelings that will never be
able to manifest because she is the star of another.

I have my own reality that has been so good to me as her lover is to her but
it seems the unknown possibilties of potential future together stimulates my
cortex whenever I think of her...

If things were different, different place, different time, different
circumstances, maybe these thoughts would become a physical
manifestation. Alas I have to keep my emotions on lock
for you will continue to be my earthly Angel from within....
