Has anyone every had a bad Valentine's Day? I had three Valentine's in total. My first wasn't really a Valentine because he didn't get me anything. I spent "BUCKS" on him because he was the first. We mutually broke up. Second Valentine, it was okay. I was dating the guy for six months and started to lose interest in him, so Valentine's Day wasn't nice. We went to KFC, went to his apartment and he gave me a small pink teddy...that's it. I got him a huge card and a wagon with stuff (I can't remember). Another, slightly, expensive gift. We broke up. (Not because of the day either.) Third Valentine, he was just a friend. He was better than my last two Valentines. I got roses. Well, that part stood out. So overall, I've had two boyfriends in my life and had a bad experience with Valentine's Day with both. And one friend who was nice enough to give me flowers that day. Unfortunately, I haven't had THAT perfect Valentine's Day.

So after reading all of that...has anyone had a questionable Valentine's Day...whether you thought it was good, could have been better, or just bad? Feel free to comment. I will be here for a little while.

I never had a valentines, or a date really...but I honestly wouldnt know what to do if I did....

I accually think of Valentines day as just another day myself...
Till some guy proves me wrong...

I allways send out cards to alot of people family and friend's.
My Mother (when she was still here) used to allways make me feel really speicial on valentines day!

I don't see why people make such a big deal about Valentines Day. Alright so what you are single...I think people forget the good things about being single!!
Sometimes its a good thing to be single, we learn how to grow. The good thing with being a mature woman is this, I am at that phase in my life where I can say that I do not NEED a man in my life BUT it would be nice if I WANT a man in my life.
I hope you all have a Happy Valentines day and you realize that you don't have to be "with" someone to enjoy it!!

Don't remember any bad valentines days. I send out cards to niece, nephew, godchildren, freinds children. I have no sweetheart to be my valentine.

My best Valentine's Day?? 1995, without a doubt!!

My friend at work was making a joke that he asked his wife for a new watchband and he got whole new watch. He made a joke that his wife was getting more than just the kiss she asked for. When he asked what I got for Valentine's Day I told him a seperation!!!!

And so true! I enjoy my single life...but you just can't help getting a little something.

I go about my buisness as usual but am constantly reminded by everyone with their flowers and their smiles and their hallmark induced emotions that Im all alone and this is the day to rub it in my face like so much pink dung

Shouldn't laugh, but...HHHHAAAA HHHHAAA!!!! TRUE! Even if it isn't VD, I get that, "I'm with someone, and you don't have anyone," sort of feeling when seeing a couple pass by. Makes me half depressed and half thankful I don't have to worry about future relationship drama.
