I'm only a control freak while on my job, but for damn good reasons because people could die... (scuba instructor) but in my personal life, I know that the only one I have a right to control is me

OUT of control. I am always buying things for others to make them happy until my bank account is crying red blood. it helped me enormously when I realized that you can't "make" anyone happy...only LET them be happy should they be ready, willing and able to do so...

Please list one example(just one, it IS a dating site after all--don't wanna scare anyone away ) Control freak to me would be someone that constantly tells you what to do, Tries to push you to do things THEY want you to do. Someone that tryies to mold you into their ideal mate. An out-of-control freak... I would think someone who can't manage their own life. An addict or borderline addict maybe. I'm neither, I don't want to force anyone to be what I want them to be. I don't like telling people what to do. I manage my life pretty well, I pay my bills on time, I live on my own, have a car, etc.
