The love's gone nowhere, but sometimes things just get old and patience gets tried. But certainly not because of intoxication, on my part.
Voluntary intoxication that is not a defense of one actions, either legal or morally. I will admit that is a trigger when people use it as an excuse to treat people poorly and then expect others to just say, "oh, well, it's okay". I agree people make mistakes, but getting drunk was a choice, as well as all the actions that follow it.

Been reading this post and all ur comments...

Don't mean to be rude...

but come on..don't u think u r being a bit harsh here???...

No I have not read ur profile...

So I will ask...do u have kids..???

Especially a 19 yr old who is in the military...

Of course no excuse..but for god sake let it go...

He made a mistake..he apologized...enough..

I have a son in the marines and yes he has gotten loaded and yes been stupid...

Their choice to enlist , yep, their choose to drink,...but for god sakes leave this 19 yr old alone...

I think he has enough stress to deal with...

I don't believe he needs to be beat to death for a mistake...

Besides...it wasn't that bad any way...

Honor him and tell him to be the best he can be...

the way he is being taught..

You may not be pointing the finger at him directly at this point in the post...(as I have only the majority of comments..now urs) but indirectly u r directing it at him...

I think he feels bad enough and is a good guy for even coming on here and apologizing...

Well the military aparently is making a man out of him....

I take that back..I did read the whole post....

My comment in response was to where did the love go. We all have the right to our opinions. Nowhere did I say that he should not have apologized, or that I did not accept it. There was a thread that was deleted that not all of you read before it was deleted.

You might think I am being harsh, as is your right. I am simply stating why I am not tolerant of such behavior. As I do not know the OP, no my comments are not directed at him, but rather at the behavior, the actions. I do have a child, yes, not that it is relevant. Anymore than the job of the OP is relevant. Have I made mistakes, absolutely. I've never claimed to be pure or innocent. I simply admitted I am sensitive to the topic, and quite openly. I am not attacking the poster. I was simply trying to give an honest response to why I was perceived as harsh. I'm sure we all have "triggers" and things that annoy us. I'm admitting that I do.

hey..i have lost my cool here just yesturday afternoon..a good intention was met with a comment that went right through my marrow..
and my temper exploded all over the place..after i calmed down..not only did i remove my words of anger, but even deleted my thread..then i emailed miss txs to have her remove it completely...

yes tempers flair when there are so many people involved..
but anger doesnt last forever..

i was told by email that some are confussed as to my post...my moral was ..that even with or without the effects of alcohol..people here can still get angry..it can be expected when one feels attacked in front of thousands of people..

some of us here will lose it..
